Pulmonary Drug Delivery (PDD) conference series was established by Prof. Carsten Ehrhardt of Trinity College Dublin in 2013. PDD connects academia and industry leaders. Recently, PDD started including regulatory experts and government agencies. There is a special session for the Graduate students and postdocs to present their research. 

PDD conferences alternate annually between Istanbul and Dublin with participants from Western and Eastern Europe as well as Asia and Africa providing a platform to discuss developments with inhalation drugs. Istanbul meetings are organised by Prof. Ayca Yıldız Peköz of Istanbul University.
